Chesapeake Rotary Club’s Wine Festival Tops Million Dollars for Charities



The Chesapeake Rotary Club announced that it has donated over one million dollars to Chesapeake Charities from the Chesapeake WIne Festival. The Chesapeake Wine Festival is a 100 percent volunteer event and 100 percent of the proceeds go to charity. It has become one of the premier wine festivals in Virginia.

All totaled, the Chesapeake Wine Festival has given over one million dollars to over 30 Chesapeake charities since 2010. This year's recipients include: Chesapeake Boys and Girls Club, Children's Help Investment Program, Chesapeake Education Foundation Planetarium Project, Chesapeake Service Systems, Children Today Leaders Tomorrow, For Kids, HER Shelter, Paint Your Heart Out, Coats for Kids, Chesapeake Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Kidzkruz (JCA Foundation).
