Kelly Valentine Scholarship recipients
In memory of Kelly Valentine, who died tragically just over a year ago, her family and donors established the Kelly Valentine Memorial Scholarship fund. Three outstanding young women --- Genevieve Bestercy of Great Bridge High School, Lindsey Hall of Hickory High School, and Rebecca Jones of Grassfield High School --- each received a scholarship. The presentations were made at a reception and award ceremony at Traditions in the Las Gaviotas Clubhouse. Genevieve will attend James Madison University, Lindsey will attend the University of Virginia, and Rebecca will attend James Madison University.
