Seniors Support Services Seminar draws a crowd

The Senior Support Services Seminar started in 1987 by Sheriff John R. Newhart and is one of his proudest sponsorships. The event was to educate seniors about the services and programs available to them in the City of Chesapeake. There were free health screenings and many other informative activities. The day also included a wonderful lunch especially for the seniors.
