Chesapeake Deputies volunteer to deliver Christmas baskets to families in need.
Chesapeake Sheriff John R. Newhart's Elderly and Indigent Victim's Assistance Program once again delivered over 100 holiday food baskets to needy families throughout Chesapeake. This is the 24th year of this tradition, which was started by Sheriff Newhart to benefit elderly and indigent victims of crime.
