College of the Albemarle cranks up the energy!

If you thought there might not be enough to do around Elizabeth City, College of the Albemarle's Community Auditorium's season roster, was jam-packed with excellent entertainment. The season began with a tribute to World War II and The Greatest Generation. A swing singing trio known as Victory Belles took the stage just in time for Veteran's Day. The North Carolina Symphony presented their Holiday Pops program in December along with Rhythmic Circus, a high-octane tap group who brought their energy, humor and music to the stage along with master tap classes the community was able to take part in. Just last week The Second City made their way to the River City. This Chicago-based improv group launched the careers of some of comedy's superstars, such as John Belushi, Dan Aykryod and Tina Fey. The tour was called Fair & Unbalanced, as it took aim at politicians, celebrities, and our significant others! Oh, What a great season we've had! Join us for our final show April 9th as we welcome one of CMT's favorite funnymen, Cledus T. Judd.
