Great turnout for fundraising event

The Virginia Credit Union League held its inaugural 5K run/walk in support of The Children's Miracle Network. Kim Rubin coordinated this event and was quite humbled by the generous outpouring of support. The Children's Miracle Network hospital in the Hampton Roads area is the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters, which serves the medical and surgical needs of more than 250,000 children each year re regardless of a family's ability to pay. It's the only hospital of its kind in Virginia. All event proceeds went to CHKD and will greatly benefit the community.
