G Gathering Honoring Congressman Scott

Honoring Congressman Scott

The Physicians for Peace Board of Trustees recently held their annual dinner and report to stakeholders. In attendance were board members, community leaders, staff members, and mission volunteers.

A special tribute was paid to Congressman Bobby Scott of Virginia's 3rd Congressional District during dinner. According to Ron Sconyers, President and CEO of Physicians for Peace, Congressman Scott was singled out for his extraordinary leadership and representation of the people of the 3rd District of Virginia, and for his tireless support of Physicians for Peace to extend America's hand of friendship around the globe by providing healthcare training and education to the world's under-served populations.
