A very special birthday celebrated with a train ride and dinner!

After a chauffeured Executive Coach, a train ride and dinner on Cape Charles' Bay Creek Railway made for a magical evening, as friends entertained Elaine Thompson for a special birthday. Carey Transportation picked up 16 friends on Southside and transported them to Cape Charles - an hour away on the Eastern Shore. There, they entered a 93-year-old railway dining car for a two-hour ride on a Saturday evening, replete with full course meals for all. The car holds 30 diners altogether, has a restroom and bar service, and turned out to be a memorable evening for all aboard.

Chauffeur Ed Moran of Carey Transportation joined the adventure.

ThePhysiciansNetwork.org CEO John May and his wife, Ann, drove down from Weems, Va for the evening in Cape Charles celebrating their long-time friend Elaine Thompson.

Cliff Ireland came from his post as Director of the Small Business Center at Sampson College in North Carolina to be with the Thompsons. He was also celebrating his daughter Heather's delight at her William and Mary football team's 3rd straight victory that evening. Heather went on to William and Mary from Norfolk Academy and is now Interim Director of Operations for the team. Mary Holloway, who has piloted small planes and ridden motorcycles, enjoyed talking to the avid Harley rider!

Cliff Ireland and Elaine Thompson shared a good laugh.
