4-H'ers represent Currituck at District 4-H Activity Day

Twenty-seven Currituck County 4-H'ers participated at the annual District 4-H Activity Day. The event was held in Hyde County at Mattamuskeet Elementary School. District Activity Day is held to offer 4-H'ers from 19 counties an opportunity to compete in public speaking/presentation and outdoor cooking contests. 4-H'ers must prepare and present a 5-12 minute speech on any topic they choose. Currituck County 4-H wants to thank all the parents and volunteers who helped these young people achieve success!
