Historic St. Luke's Church celebrates annual pilgrimage
Historic St. Luke's Church in Smithfield recently held its 52nd Annual Pilgrimage. The guest speaker was Dr. Carl R. Lounsbury, Senior Architectural Historian in the Architectural Research Department of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Following the speaker, Executive Director of Historic St. Luke's Church, Charlotte Klamer, presented the 7th annual R. Franklin and Arbee R. Edwards Scholarship to Chelsea A. Elmore, a senior at Smithfield High School who will be attending William and Mary in the fall. A reception followed.
