G Gathering Chesapeake Rotary's Paint Your Heart Out Day

Chesapeake Rotary's Paint Your Heart Out Day

Chesapeake Rotary's Paint Your Heart Out Day in April is organized each year by the Chesapeake Rotary Club and made possible thanks to donations of money, material and time from banks, businesses, individuals, church groups, clubs, military personnel and other civic groups. Over 400 volunteers painted and repaired 14 homes for the elderly and individuals with disabilities this year. Paint Your Heart Out Day epitomizes the importance of the community teaming to help others and truly deserves recognition for The Shopper's Friends & Family in Business theme this month.

Rotarian Don Buckley and his wife, Alvene, enjoyed the Paint Your Heart Out Thank You Party hosted by Rotarians Baxter Ennis, Jorge Dabul, and Chesapeake Rotary President John Henry Martin.

Paint Your Heart Out Vice Chairman David Hanson awarded gift certificates to volunteers at the PYHO after-party.
