Portsmouth Service League St. Puppies Day
Sponsors and organizers of St. Puppies Day, a fundraising bash aimed at raising money for the Portsmouth Humane Society deemed the well-attended event a huge success. Supporters braved the wet, cold evening to enjoy tasty fare and beverages at Roger Brown's Restaurant & Sports Bar, which donated proceeds of sales to PHS. Members of the provisional class of the Portsmouth Service League donated their time to organize and host the fun-filled fundraiser that included drawings for prizes and entertainment by the band, More Cowbell. Guests received a free raffle ticket with a donation of food or other supplies for the shelter.
