G Gathering The Wild West was won at Central Library story time

The Wild West was won at Central Library story time

Once a month the Chesapeake Central Library puts on its Fantastic Friday story time. Each month the theme of the story changes and recently the focus was on cowboys and the Wild West. Librarian Lisa Brady read to the children, which generated many interesting questions from the kids, who also got to enjoy some arts and crafts. Story time is free and open to children ages 6 years and up.

Volunteer Theresa Wiggs led the children in a sing-a-long with her guitar.

The children enjoyed story time.

Story time at its best.

Lisa Brady read the sing-along book to the children.

Children's librarian, Martha Cole stopped by to say howdy to the Wild West Gang and William.

One of the tables set up for arts and crafts.

Clockwise from left: James, Cole, William, Madeline and Makaila decorated their cowboy boots.

Glue sticks were very popular with this crowd.

Young cowgirls had fun decorating their wild west scenes.
