CEIC Annual Luncheon 2007
Chesapeake's Environmental Improvement Council held their annual Christmas luncheon to reflect on the years' accomplishments while looking forward to a prosperous new year. CEIC Chairperson Mr. Jerry Ivory invited guest speaker Cindy Lane, Deputy Refuge Manager from the Great Dismal Swamp to share awareness issues of the National Wildlife Refuge as well as how the park program will improve the quality of life for children. CEIC Council, Parks and Recreation employees and valuable volunteers to the City of Chesapeake gathered together to celebrate a year of keeping Chesapeake clean.
