46th Annual Christmas in the Country Open House/Bazaar



Members of the Cape Henry Woman's Club were thrilled with the response to their 46th Annual Christmas in the County Open House/Bazaar held at the historic Church Point Manor House located at 4001 Church Point Road. Hundreds of visitors turned out to tour the House, which served as Virginia's first courthouse; an Episcopalian church and even as a hospital during the Civil War. Today, it's a popular bed and breakfast steeped in historical and architectural grandeur that has hosted celebrated and dignitaries alike.

The tour always includes historical and interesting information about each room of the house and are given by members of the Cape Henry Woman's Club. Mary Lu Parks at right does the honors here.
