Breast Cancer Awareness Month Meets the Ladies in Pink

October is Breast Cancer awareness month, and Chesapeake Parks and Recreation's Great Bridge area cheering coordinator Sandra Yawn "spear-headed" an event to recognize this important cause. Approximately 145 youth cheerleaders, coaches and youth volunteers gathered on the Great Bridge High School's Soccer field, wearing pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.
