Emergency Services day at Towne Place
An emergency services day was held at Towne Place Greenbrier in October. Despite the gray weather, families came out to visit the merchant booths and let the children check out the Fire, Police and EMS vehicles that were on site. Towne Place, The Shopper, Fox and 92.9, The Wave, hosted the event.
Public Affairs Specialist Vanessa Torres, right, and Administrative Specialist Melanie Hayes from the local FBI office.
FBI Special Agent Vincent Moore was on hand to talk with people about career opportunities.
Paul McCoy, on air personality from The Wave, was on hand to greet listeners and had his caricature done by artist Celeste Craver.
Destiny Loper tried her hand at driving the fire truck while her sister Emerald posed outside.
Alex in his firefighter costume and brother Byron Thomas in his SWAT uniform loved checking out the real vehicles on site.
