Bark in Maple Park
The first annual Bark in Maple Park was held in Maple Park, Currituck County, N.C. The event was sponsored by the Animal Lovers Assistance League. Highlights of the day included a dog show in which no entrant went home empty pawed, a dog wash, a training and behavior seminar, food, games, and a demonstration by the Currituck County Sheriffs Department k-9 Unit.
