Because good health starts with good food, the Chesapeake Health Department will present a farmers market every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Thanksgiving. Located at 748 Battlefield Blvd. North (just behind Chesapeake Regional Healthcare), the market will offer fresh tomatoes, corn, squash, beets, berries, melons, and seasonal fruits and veggies, plus free-range eggs, honey, and an extensive assortment of jams, jellies, relishes, pickles, and salsas.
