Two Norfolk-Fire Rescue members were recently recognized in a slightly modified American Legion Law and Order Program, held this year at Fire Station #1. Local Tidewater Post 327, lead by Mr. John Schenk, awarded Lt. Brian Rafter and FF Adrian Kuna with the John Versteynen Memorial Award for Outstanding Firefighter of the Year. Off duty at the time, both members acted selflessly to help a victim in an accident off I-464 last May. Congratulations, Lt. Rafter and FF Kuna, for a job well done!
