The Moose Lodge bestows its highest honor on local member
James Hofer of Chesapeake, a member of the South Norfolk Lodge No.464, was one of 141 members of the fraternity summoned to receive the highest honor that can be bestowed, the Pilgrim Degree of Merit from The Loyal Order of Moose. The Moose is an international organization of men dedicated to caring for children and seniors, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life. James received his symbolic yellow blazer in honor of a job well done.
Honoree James Hofer and his wife, Dorothy, enjoyed this special day with their grandchildren, who came all the way from Norway. James is holding Henrik and Mialinn. Anna is sitting on Dorothy's lap.
