College Scholarships Awarded to Local Students
Chesapeake Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jarod Cotton attended the most recent meeting of the Chesapeake Sports Club to present deserving high school students with scholarships awarded by the club. Phil Johnson, club president, also presented a gift to WTKR Anchor Barbara Ciara who emceed this club's annual Jamboree in April. The meeting's guest speaker was WTKR Sports Director Adam Winkler.
