The Chesapeake Sports Club recently held their monthly meeting at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Two Legends of Honor were recognized: Mike Head and Jesse VanHorn. Eddie Mitchell, baseball historian and author of Baseball Rowdies of the 19th Century, was the guest speaker. Club President Glenn Hampton presented a check to Kiwanis Club President Stephanie Welke representing contributions raised during the Towne Place at Greenbrier 2018 Summer Concert Series.
