The HER Shelter's Third Annual Night of Gratitude was recently held at Hilton Norfolk The Main. More than 200 guests enjoyed an evening of laughter, reflection and learning- not to mention great food and company! The HER Shelter hosts this annual event to recognize and thank the local organizations, companies, and volunteers who pour their time, energy, and donations into the shelter's work. Special guest, Kit Gruelle, shared her moving story of surviving domestic abuse and going on to live an incredible life.
