Chesapeake Sheriff's Office deputies recently hosted "Wawa With the Law" - a fundraiser for Special Olympics Virginia. The deputies accepted donations at various Wawa locations throughout the area. Everyone who made a donation, wrote their name on a donation slip, and taped it to the Sheriff's cruiser- the goal being to cover the car by the end of the day. Adding to the fun of this kick-off event, Special Olympics Athlete Chad Allen stopped by to help out and show his support.
