The Tidewater Hokie Club Kicks Off the Season in Style
The Eighth Annual Tidewater Hokie Club kick-off dinner was held at the Virginia Beach Conference Center. Honored guests included Tech Head Coach Frank Beamer, Athletic Director Whit Babcock, University President Dr. Timothy Sands, Vice-President for Advancement Charles Phleger, the new Voice of the Hokies John Laaser and VT Hall of Famer Mike Birnop. The program featured a silent and live auction and interviews with the guests conducted by John Laaser.
