Volunteer Hampton Roads (VHR) is pleased to announce that six local nonprofit organizations have been certified by VHR and Points of Light, the world's largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, as Service Enterprises. With this certification, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, Hope House Foundation, Samaritan House, Tidewater Arts Outreach, Virginia Beach Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and the Virginia Living Museum have become the first organizations in Virginia to be recognized as Service Enterprises.
