Portsmouth Sports Club
The May meeting of the Portsmouth Sports Club was held at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in Portsmouth. The meeting honored the state champion ladies indoor track team from Western Branch High School. Olympic Gold Medalist LaTasha Collander Clark was the guest speaker, and coach Claude Toukene was recognized as National Scholastic Athletics Foundation coach of the year.
