More than 150 members of the Smithfield Chapter of Ducks Unlimited gathered for dinner at The Smithfield Center to continue more than three decades of fundraising. Last year the event raised approximately $20,000 in donations and live-auction items. Their mission is to further conserve and restore our local wetlands for all North American waterfowl. The group is responsible for conserving millions of acres of wetlands in the eastern region of the U.S.
