Medical professionals, volunteers and supporters of Physicians for Peace joined together to celebrate the non-profit organization’s 20th year of changing lives by changing medical care throughout the world. Founded by the late Dr. Charles E. Horton Sr. in 1989, Physicians for Peace has conducted more than 500 missions in over 50 countries, sending health-care providers, medical education and medical supplies where the need for services and training is most dire.
