Portsmouth Humane Society has been providing shelter and adoption and rescue services to animals since the late 1800's! A member of VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads, Portsmouth Humane Society is also an educational resource and advocate for animal welfare laws that protect animals.

The Portsmouth Humane Society has teamed with local artist, Kim Guthrie, for the release of the "ABC Puppy Coloring Book."  The coloring book features artwork and information about dog breeds from A to Z and the work of PHS.  The proceeds from the sale of the book (suggested $5 donation) benefit the Portsmouth Humane Society's work to help the homeless animals. Visit our website for more information.
