G Gathering TNT’s first show was dynamite

TNT’s first show was dynamite

Showtime! was the title of The New Theatre of Chesapeake's gala fundraising revue. The event featured exceptional talent from across Hampton Roads including artists such as local diva Lindsay Eure; The Hurrah Players; trumpeter and City Attorney, Ron Hallman; Denise Wall's Dance Energy; NY cabaret artist Bryon Sommers; The Commodore Chorus and others. The evening started off with a rousing introduction by Mayor Krasnoff and ended with a well-deserved standing ovation. It was a fine kick-off for the city's premier theater organization, whose ultimate goal is to have a performing arts center built in the Greenbrier area. Also in the spotlight was TNT's 2010-2011 season announcement. This year's productions will be Songs For A New World (October), You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (February), and Violet (May).
