Chesapeake Sheriffs Offices CTLT Leadership Camp
Recently, children and junior mentors joined deputies for three days of fun at the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office's Children Today Leaders Tomorrow Leadership Camp. Sheriff Jim O'Sullivan created the camp to cultivate team building and leadership skills in youth. No electronics were allowed at camp so the children could focus on activities such as rock climbing, horseback riding, archery, fishing, swimming, and basketball. Evenings were filled with hayrides, a magic show, roasting marshmallows, laser tag, dancing and games. An awards ceremony and cookout topped off the weekend with the campers and their parents.
