G Gathering A Night of Gratitude

A Night of Gratitude

Recently, local non-profit Help and Emergency Response, Inc. (widely referred to as the H.E.R. Shelter), hosted its 2nd annual Night of Gratitude. With more than 200 guests in attendance at the brand new Hilton Norfolk The Main, the event kicked off with a silent auction, live jazz provided by the 623 Jazz Combo, and appetizers. Later on, during an amazing meal, attendees heard from CEO of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center Jack Reese, TED Speaker Leslie Morgan Steiner, and H.E.R. Shelter Executive Director Beth Cross. Throughout the night, the emphasis remained on the organization's purpose - to combat the community epidemic that is domestic violence.

Best-selling author and TED speaker Leslie Morgan Steiner takes the stage with the evening's powerful and emotional keynote address.
