The Chesapeake State of the City luncheon, presented by the Hampton Roads Chamber, was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Guests were treated to the sound of The Chesapeake Singers of the Chesapeake High School Choir for the performance of the Star Spangled Banner. Mayor Alan P. Krasnoff gave the keynote address, and there was an air of celebration as he spoke of the challenges and triumphs Chesapeake and its citizens experienced during 2016.
