Chesapeake Sports Club Inducts 97th Legend of Honor Recipient

The March meeting of the Chesapeake Sports Club was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center.  Coach Sid Savoy was inducted as the 97th Legend of Honor recipient. Old Dominion head football coach Bobby Wilder was the guest speaker and gave an inspiring presentation on his coaching philosophy.  It is not only his task to coach young men in sports, but also to coach them in life. His goal is to recruit the best people and adapt his system to the strengths of each of  his players. Four local student athletes were also recognized for their outstanding accomplishments.
