Congratulations to the nine newest deputies at the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office!

Sheriff Jim O'Sullivan presented graduation certificates and badges to the 8th session of the Training Academy's 16 week Basic Deputy School. City Councilman Robert Ike, Jr. gave the keynote address before the new recruits were sworn in. A circuit court clerk swore in all nine new deputies, before a loved one pinned their badges onto their uniforms for the first time. Welcome to the Office!
