Beef Fest Bonanza
The Deep Creek Ruritan Club recently held their 40th annual Beef Fest at Isaak Walton Park in the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake. This year's attendance numbered over 1000, a record for the event. Guests enjoyed the sunny day and feasted on Texas-style barbequed beef. All proceeds from the event will benefit the club's community service projects.
