Chesapeake Sports Club Jamboree
The Fourth Annual Chesapeake Sports Club Jamboree was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Master of Ceremonies Richard Harris welcomed those attending and introduced the guests of honor. Nick Cattles of ESPN 94.1 radio presented the awards for Female High School Athlete of the Year to Courtney Adams, Male Athlete of the Year to Andrew Brown and High School Coach of the Year to Claude Toukene. President Lou Tayon presented Sports Club Member of the Year to Wayne Martin. Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker Jack Ham was the guest speaker who credits Coach Joe Paterno as the greatest influence on his football career.
