Girl Scouts Gather for Mother-Daughter Tea Party and Fashion Show
Adorned in festive, brightly colored dresses, over 200 mothers and daughters gathered at Oak Grove United Methodist Church for the 3rdannual Mother-Daughter Tea and Fashion Show for Girl Scouts of Indian River. They dined on small sandwiches and had special desserts made with Girl Scout cookies. Over 40 local businesses donated raffle prizes, which were gifted to every mother and daughter in attendance. Thanks to the generous donations of local businesses, Girl Scouts can continue to build leaders for the future as girls develop courage, confidence and character in a supportive environment created by dedicated volunteers.
