Proclamation
Family and friends were in attendance when Grant Holloway received his Proclamation from Mayor Rick West and the Chesapeake City Council. A graduate of Grassfield High School, Grant moved on to become a University of Florida Gator before turning a Pro Athlete in Track and Field. His countless awards, titles and records inspire many other young athletes. His most recent accomplishment, World Record holder in the 60 metres hurdles, is just one more stepping stone as his quest for Olympic Gold continues. The City of Chesapeake will loudly be cheering you on when you head to Tokyo soon for the Olympic Games.
