The Deep Creek Ruritan Club honored First Responders from Chesapeake at their most recent meeting. FF/EMT Alexander Charlton, Fire Station 8, FF/PM Kevin R. Tam, and Officer Brent Lee received awards from Chesapeake City Council member Debbie Ritter, Ruritan members Joe Noha and Joe Gargaro. Police Chief Kevin Wright and Fire Chief ED Elliot were given Rudy Bears to give to children in stressful situations.
