At its latest luncheon, The Chesapeake Sports Club recognized four local high school athletes for their outstanding achievements during the past season. An award was also presented to the latest Legend of Honor, Sue Dixon, as well as special recognition to past President Phil Johnson for his outstanding service. Kyle McMullin, Athletic Director of Christopher Newport University, spoke of the school's exceptional program, encouraging the student-athletes to embrace imperfections as part of developing life skills.
