ÂChesapeake Sister Cities
The Chesapeake Sister Cities Committee, Inc. presented a check for $1,000 to Jocelyn Pearson of the Virginia Cooperative Extension 4 H Program, to be used in the Character Counts Program in Chesapeake's sister city, Joinville, Brazil. Valentines made by students of Deep Creek Central Elementary School and Hickory High School were also presented, and will be carried to the students in Joinville later in the month.
