A cold and rainy Shamrock Festival turned out to be a hot success! Soggy sneakers from all 50 states participated in one of Virginia Beach's biggest events to celebrate the “Luck of the Irish”.
Students also set up before the event and cleaned up after the runners.
Some were ecstatic to see the finish line!
The National Honor Society of First Colonial High School braved the rain and freezing temperatures to encourage race participants while offering them drinks and cookies.
