4th Annual TRASHion Show
En vogue fashions made from – trash?
Recently, students walked the runway at the 4th Annual Lynnhaven TRASHion show. Lynnhaven Mall hosted this event where students modeled designs made from repurposed materials such as trash bags, newspaper, CDs, empty bags of chips and plastic spoons. Lynnhaven River Now sponsored the project. The event accomplished its goals by not only being a fun experience, but also increasing awareness about the amount of waste America generates and how important reducing, reusing and recycling are in combating the issue.
