Pick-up With the Portsmouth Sports Club

The September meeting of the Portsmouth Sports Club was held at Roger Brown's in Old Town. Eddie Webb, Executive Director of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame, introduced the month's guest speaker, Old Dominion Head Basketball Coach Jeff Jones. Coach Jones gave a preview of the upcoming season and the players that will make an impact on the team's performance going forward. He said that he, as well his players, always have something to prove when they go to take the court. This idea is what builds great team chemistry.
