February Meeting Chesapeake Sports Club
The Sports Club of Chesapeake held its monthly meeting at the Chesapeake Conference Center. There was an exceptionally large turnout for the posthumous induction of 10 Legends of Honor. Janet Wenger described the biographies and athletic accomplishments of the 10 inductees along with a power point presentation. Family members were on hand to accept the awards. New head football coach of the Norfolk State Spartans, Latrell Scott, was the guest speaker, who said his goal is not only to train good football players but quality young men. Next month's speaker will be ODU football Coach Bobby Wilder.
