Habitat for Humanity gathers a community to build homes
The Chesapeake Habitat Interfaith Partners hosted their 13th annual gigantic yard sale at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Great Bridge. All proceeds from the yard sale will be used to purchase building materials for the groups 18th Habitat for Humanity home. Churches, non-profit groups and their volunteers gathered together for a great community cause.
Youths washed cars to help fund the Catholic Heart Work camp youth mission trip this summer, where they will help repair homes for the disabled and elderly.
