Norfolk Sports Club

The bi-monthly meeting of the Norfolk Sports club was held at the Holiday Inn Express. Longtime American League umpire Al Clark was introduced by Norfolk Tides Owner Dave Rosenfield. Al recounted numerous hilarious stories about his 26 years in baseball. He talked about the players, owners, and fans and their interaction with umpires, and what makes America's favorite pastime so great. The club is anxiously awaiting the return of Norfolk's first professional football team, The Norfolk Neptunes. The former players will be guests of the club at the September 15th evening meeting to be held at the Holiday Inn on Greenwich Road.
